We spent a few days in April at a beautiful place on Folly Beach, South Carolina with my husband's family...we had a wonderful time!

Here are some of the photograph's that Jim took there.

When we got back home, I spent a week or so on Jury Duty...life seemed to have gotten a little mixed up...but, I'm back to my regular schedule now...

Updated version of the Border:

I have been doing a lot of traditional watercolors the past few weeks, I have not been working on any digital painting...but...I did rework this border (which I am working on digitally) ...and I wanted to post it before I use it to border a set of four illustrations.

A series of illustrations with Borders...

I have always enjoyed adding borders with lots of extras (flowers, birds, kittens, mice etc) to my illustrations...but, I have never worked backwards before. In otherwards; I usually start with the illustration and ADD the border...well...I'm doing a series of illustrations with borders starting with the border....any ideas as to what the illustration could be for this one?  (just for fun) Lemme know what you think.
